Henderson heads First Horizon in Ringgold

First Horizon Bank has named Jennifer Henderson as manager of its banking center in Ringgold, Georgia.

In her role, Henderson is responsible for developing new business and expanding on existing client relationships. Henderson first joined First Horizon as a teller in 2013 and has served in various roles at the bank since.

"We are excited to have Jennifer in her new role," Jay Dale, the Chattanooga market president for First Horizon, said in an announcement of Henderson's promotion. "Her proven track record and many years of experience with the bank will have a great impact on our team and in the community."

A Dalton, Georgia, native, Henderson is a graduate of Dalton State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in business with a minor in marketing. She is involved with Junior Achievements and is an active member of her church.

Signal Centers adds Akins, Walker and King

Signal Centers Inc. has brought three new members onto its staff: Jamaine Akins as deputy operations officer, Kelly-Ann Walker as deputy program officer and Tenisha King as deputy human resources officer.

"We are beyond excited to welcome Jamaine, Kelly-Ann and Tenisha to their new positions," Donna McConnico, CEO of Signal Centers, said in a statement. "Through their unique insights and skills, we believe we can continue to forge a path forward and meet the needs of Chattanoogans from all walks of life."

Akins, a native of Chattanooga, graduated from the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee as a licensed journeyman electrician and is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Walker comes to Signal Centers with over 15 years of experience in program management, community advocacy and nonprofit operations.

King, another native of Chattanooga, graduated from East Tennessee State University and later earned a Master of Business Administration at Bryan College.

Allen names partner of Acumen Wealth Advisors

Grant Allen, a chartered financial analyst, has been named a partner at Acumen Wealth Advisors. Allen, who joined Acumen Wealth Advisors in 2019, previously worked at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

Allen is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and serves as a senior investment strategist and portfolio manager at Acumen Wealth Services.
